How’d You Meet:
“Michael & I met when I was in 6th grade and he was in 8th. He was uninterested in me though…haha. Until I become a freshman in high school and he finally asked me to be his girlfriend.
If You Could Relive One Moment In Your Wedding What Would It Be?
Definitely the first touch between Michael & I. It was truly a special and spiritual moment shared just between the two of us. We each wrote a short prayer for our future as husband and wife. It was extremely emotional, and I would relive that moment every day if I could.
Favorite Wedding Detail:
Hmm..this is a tough one. I have two. One being how I was drove up to the doors of the ceremony in an old fire truck by my dad. The fire truck had significant meaning because not only is my dad a fire fighter, so is Michael. So it was a special touch. Also, Michael’s grooms table. The detail that went into this table was so neat. Michael is a huge bass fisherman, so we decorated the table with pictures of us two fishing, a bass cake, fishing bobber cake pops, and fish cookies stuffed in a tackle box. This was the one detail of the wedding that was specifically for Michael so I know he enjoyed that, too.
Favorite Moment With Your Bridesmaids:
The whole morning of getting ready with my best friends was so fun, never a dull moment. But one specific moment that was special was when my girls gave me a “letters to the bride” book. Each bridesmaid, my parents, aunt and Michael all wrote their own letter. So each page has a letter from someone I loved, along with a few pictures of the two of us. It was so sweet and sentimental. I’m so thankful for them and that book.
What Song Did You Play For Your First Dance:
“I do” by Mark Willis.
I actually had a different song picked out up until two days before the wedding! I was driving home and this song came on the radio. Right then I knew that was perfect for Michael & I. I played it for him as soon as I got home and he agreed that it was perfect.
Your cake looked absolutely DELICIOUS! What was the flavor?
It was a four-tier cake, with three different flavors! The flavors we had were almond cake, red velvet and a flavor called “special occasion”. (You can find the recipe on Pinterest)
How Does It Feel To Be A Mrs. ?!
AMAZING. I still am on cloud nine from our wedding day. It’s weird calling Michael my husband and getting use to a new signature, haha, but overall I’m so blessed to say I’m Mrs. Craft!!
Kind Words from our Bride:
Thank you so much to Golden Needle for helping me pick out my dream dress, along with my stunning bridesmaids dresses. I would honestly play my wedding day on repeat if possible, it was even more perfect than I planned!
